In recent social circumstances, the development of intelligent space, might be so called “context aware space”, has been desired in which various aware services could be offered in for every situation including coexistence between human and robotics to create comfortable human daily life with less stress. In order to realize the space to be intelligent in a real world, the limitation of presence information to be interrogated by conventional sensing materials, such as CCDs and piezoelectric devices, need to be dramatically improved. Additionally, new distributed service algorithms are desired to be constructed with ability of supplying the services and development of networks are also required to share and decide all information created by a whole space. In our research and development, we develop ubiquitous monitoring network system due to integrating indoor positioning and fiber optic nerve complex sensing node. Indoor positioning technology can discriminate the objects and detect the positioning information. On the other hand, fiber optic nerve network can efficiently detect environmental information. We achieve a ubiquitous service space made by multilayered and integrated decision in whole network by means of unique distributed service algorithm and these results are expanded into industrial applications in various forms. |
